Getting to know SolarGo2 and the people and experience behind it
SolarGo2 is my brainchild. I have spent the last 25 years in the technology industry, the last 14 of which working within the solar and renewables industry with products ranging from small consumer goods to large scale solar off grid lighting and power grid systems in Africa.
I have been amazed at how low the quality of most consumer solar products have become, and that the majority of the industry are positively pushing and creating products for this end of the market and not pushing to achieve bigger and better things.
An unbelievably small number of companies are striving to make a difference with better quality products.
So here we are, a friendly solar company specialising in what I believe are quality solar products that are marketed with no hidden agendas. For quality, reliability, a sense of helping the planet, with a helpful, maybe even friendly, person 😊 (if you’re lucky) at the end of the phone or email, there to help you. I am not sure we will get it right every time, but we will always be trying to do our best.
Let me introduce the Team here at SolarGo2 that not only bring a wealth of knowledge and experience but help make each day a new fun experience.
Pete comes to us with 30+ years of 12v electronics experience both in the motor vehicle and leisure fields. He has also been in the renewable solar industry for the last 6 years as an account manager creating some fantastic relationships and personal friendships in the leisure industry.
If you are in need of a solar powered solution for caravans, motor homes or even boats then Pete is the man you need to contact. Not only will he be able to explain the technical points in simple terms, but he is able to select the correct parts and products to fulfil your needs.
Kevin comes to us as a qualified electrician with 40+ years of experience in generators, leisure vehicles, solar system design, solar installations, etc etc. this list goes on and on!
I have worked with Kevin on a few projects in the past that ranged from simple stuff like creating and specifying power systems for caravans and boats to designing, procuring, creating and even deploying solar powered grid systems that are powering street lighting and providing electricity both in rural areas of Kenya and also on the remote island of Remba in Kenya.
This man doesn’t take fools lightly but, if you're willing to learn, he has a huge heart and a fantastic wealth of knowledge that he is always willing to pass on.
Thank you for reading this and should you require any help please feel free to contact us by email or phone, we will be pleased to help.
